Amazon Web Services เปิด Region ใหม่ใน Ohio นับเป็น Region ที่ 14 ทั่วโลก

ความเร็วในการเชื่อมต่อกับ Data Center แห่งต่างๆ ภายใน US ก็มีรายละเอียดดังนี้ (อาจคลาดเคลื่อนได้ +/- 2ms)

• 10 ms to ORD (home to a pair of Direct Connect locations hosted by QTS and Equinix and an Internet exchange point).
• 12 ms to IAD (home of the US East (Northern Virginia) Region).
• 18 ms to JFK (home to another exchange point).
• 52 ms to SFO (home of the US West (Northern California) Region).
• 68 ms to PDX (home of the US West (Oregon) Region].

สำหรับ US East (Ohio) นี้จะนับเป็น Region ที่ 14 นับตั้งแต่ AWS เปิดให้บริการมา รวมถึงทำให้ปัจจุบัน AWS มีด้วยกัน 38 Availability Zone ทั่วโลกแล้ว
