Arista Networks ประกาศเปิดตัว Arista 7280R Series Universal Leaf ซึ่งเป็น Fixed Switch/Routing Platform รุ่นล่าสุดสำหรับ Data Center โดยมี Buffer ขนาดใหญ่เพื่อรองรับการใช้งานร่วมกับระบบ Storage ภายใน Data Center โดยเฉพาะ และมีสเป็คต่างๆ ที่น่าสนใจดังนี้
- มีขนาด 1-2U โดยเลือก Interface ได้ดังนี้
- 48 ports of 100GbE, with choice of 10/25/40/50/100GbE speeds
- 36 ports of 40GbE, with flexible combinations of 10GbE and 40GbE with up to 12 ports of 100GbE
- 48 ports of 10GbE SFP+ with 6 100G uplinks
- 48 ports of 10GBASE-T with 6 100G uplinks
- มี Buffer ขนาด 4-32GB
- มีเทคโนโลยี FlexRoute เพื่อรองรับได้มากถึง 1,000,000 Route แบบ Wire Speed, Segment Routing, EVPN, 128,000 MPLS, GRE, VXLAN, IP-to-IP Tunnel
- รองรับการติดตั้งใช้งานระดับ Carrier ได้ตาม Network Equipment Building System (NEBS)
- สามารถทำงานร่วมกับ EMC, HPE, NetApp, SolidFire, Nutanix และ Pure Storage ได้
