PCI จัดงานสัมมนาใหญ่ในกรุงเทพฯ อัปเดตมาตรฐานและแนวโน้มด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของธุรกิจในยุคดิจิทัล

Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council เจ้าของมาตรฐานด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยสารสนเทศด้านการใช้บัตรเครดิตชื่อดังอย่าง PCI-DSS จัดงานสัมมนาใหญ่ Asia-Pacific Community Meeting ที่กรุงเทพฯ ภายใต้ธีม “Educate. Empower. Protect.” ในวันที่ 17 – 18 พฤษภาคมนี้ องค์กรและหน่วยงานรัฐที่เป็นสมาชิก PCI สามารถลงทะเบียนเข้าร่วมงานได้ฟรี และบุคคลทั่วไปพร้อมรับข้อเสนอสุดพิเศษ

ธุรกิจไทยในยุค Thailand 4.0 ยังขาดความตระหนักด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์

ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่มีการเติบโตด้านเศรษฐกิจมากที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก และกำลังพัฒนาประเทศเข้าสู่ยุค Thailand 4.0 ซึ่งหลายองค์กรเริ่มนำเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาสนับสนุนธุรกิจและเพิ่มมูลค่าของบริการต่างๆ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งธุรกิจ e-Commerce และเทคโนโลยีอุปกรณ์พกพา เช่น BYOD ที่มีการเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว

อย่างไรก็ตาม ประเทศไทยก็ถือว่าเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศที่ตกเป็นเป้าของอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์บ่อยที่สุดเช่นกัน เนื่องจากหลายองค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชันยังขาดความตระหนักซึ่งความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์ และการปฏิบัติตามมาตรฐานด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยระดับสากล ที่สำคัญคือธุรกิจยังไม่เห็นถึงความสำคัญของความมั่นคงปลอดภัยสารสนเทศ และมีบอร์ดบริหารเพียง 1 ใน 3 เท่านั้นที่ยกประเด็นเรื่องความมั่นคงปลอดภัยเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ใช้สนับสนุนการดำเนินธุรกิจ

อัปเดตภัยคุกคามและแนวโน้มด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของธุรกิจไทยในงาน Asia-Pacific Community Meeting

เพื่อสนับสนุนธุรกิจไทยในยุคดิจิทัล PCI Security Standards Council จึงได้จัดงาน Asia-Pacific Community Meeting ที่กรุงเทพฯ เพื่ออัปเดตภัยคุกคาม แนวโน้ม และมาตรฐานด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของธุรกิจในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก รวมไปถึงประเทศไทย เพื่อให้พร้อมรับมือกับอาชญากรไซเบอร์ และสร้างความเชื่อมั่นแก่ผู้ใช้บริการระบบออนไลน์ โดยภายในงานท่านจะได้พบกับวิทยากรจาก Uber Technologies, BT Plc. และ JCB International ที่จะมาแชร์ประสบการณ์และข้อมูลเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับเทคนิคล่าสุด ที่ช่วยให้การทำธุรกรรมออนไลน์มีความมั่นคงปลอดภัยมากยิ่งขึ้น และลดความเสี่ยงด้านภัยคุกคามไซเบอร์ให้เหลือน้อยที่สุด

สำหรับเซสชัน Keynote นั้น นำโดย ดร. ชาลี วรกุลพิพัฒน์ จากศูนย์เทคโนโลยีอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และคอมพิวเตอร์แห่งชาติ (NECTEC) ในหัวข้อ “Security Awareness, Policies, Practices and Challenges” ซึ่งจะมาถกประเด็นเรื่องความตระหนักด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นนโยบาย แนวทางปฏิบัติ และความท้าทายของธรุกิจไทยในปัจจุบัน
