เผย Windows Server 2016 อัดแรมได้ 24TB พร้อมฟีเจอร์ใหม่สำหรับ VM, Hyper-Converged และ Container

Microsoft เผยฟีเจอร์ใหม่ๆ สำหรับรองรับ Data Center ขนาดใหญ่โดยเฉพาะที่จะมาบน Windows Server 2016 เพิ่มเติม

ทาง Microsoft ได้ออกมาเปิดเผยฟีเจอร์ใหม่ของ Windows Server 2016 เพิ่มเติมดังนี้

• รองรับ Physical Memory ได้สูงสุด 24TB ต่อเครื่อง (สูงกว่าเดิม 6 เท่า)
• รองรับ Physical Logical Processor ได้สูงสุด 512 Logical Processor
• แต่ละ Virtual Machine (VM) จะรองรับแรมได้สูงสุด 16TB (สูงกว่าเดิม 16 เท่า)
• แต่ละ VM จะรองรับ Virtual Processor ได้สูงสุด 240 Virtual Processor (สูงกว่าเดิม 3.75 เท่า)
• เพิ่มฟีเจอร์ Guarded Fabric และ Shielded VMs สำหรับป้องกัน VM บน Hyper-V ให้ปลอดภัยจากการโจมตีทาง Storage, Network หรือจาก VM ที่สำรองเอาไว้ให้มากขึ้น
• เพิ่มฟีเจอร์ Storage Spaces Direct ใช้ Local Storage ทำ High Availability ได้ และรองรับการทำ Hyper-Converged Infrastructure ได้ในตัว
• มี Windows Container ให้ใช้งานได้ 2 โหมด ได้แก่
  • Windows Server Container ที่ทำ Isolation ด้วย Namespace และ Process Isolation
  • Hyper-V Container ทำการ Encapsulate แต่ละ Container ด้วยการใช้ Lightweight VM แบ่งแทน
