1. Senior QA / QA Engineer (Automation & Financial background) – JREQ064837
Description
We have a passion and believe in Power of Automation. We take initiative in creating powerful test automation framework for one of the Thomson Reuters flagship products, Eikon.
Using various tools and technology such as EggPlant automation, Selenium, WebDriver, White Framework, etc., your role is critical and challenge to drive automation coverage and stability of the framework. We are in very open and support team environment.
You will:-
- Implement automation test cases, framework, test script using appropriate technology according to team strategy
- Collaborate with automation group leaders and team members to decide approach
- Provide estimates, execute and analyse automated tests in collaboration with functional test teams.
- Perform system and integration testing, confidence and cross platform testing for quantitative analytics areas
- Perform test planning and estimation, requirements analysis, automated and manual test creation and execution

Qualifications
About you:-
- Experience in using or contributing to Open Source testing frameworks/tools such as White Framework, Selenium, xUnit or WebDriver
- Experience with the concepts of mocks/stubs/fakes.
- Knowledge of Software Testing.
- Knowledge of various software design patterns.
- Knowledge of financial markets, fixed income, derivatives, portfolio management, and quantitative analytics
- Good command in English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or related field.
Nice to have:
- Experience in EggPlant tool and Sense talk language is a plus.
- Experience in Object-Oriented development and data structure (with languages such as C#).
2. Senior QA Engineer (Financial background) – JREQ064835
Description
As a Senior QA Engineer with Financial background, you will participate in all phases of the software delivery process of our strategic Financial Software Application solutions. You will also involve in cross-functional meetings, articulate project risk and provide clear, concise recommendations to development and product management and project stakeholders.
You will:-
- Perform system and integration testing, confidence and cross platform testing.
- Perform test planning and estimation, requirements analysis, automated and manual test creation and execution
- Define test scope, create, execute manual and automated test cases.
- Report on test progress and software release readiness and risks.
- Investigate, analyze, prioritize, report software defects, and track defects through completion.
- Coordinate various test activities for localization, performance and other cross organization testing efforts.
- Partner with software development groups and business stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality, on time software releases.

Qualifications
About you:-
- At least 5 years Financial Software working related experience.
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies.
- Knowledge of financial markets, fixed income, derivatives, portfolio management, and quantitative analytics
- Good command in English
- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Nice to have:-
- Passed level 1 or 2 of the CFA exam (Chartered Financial Analyst)
3. Senior QA / QA Engineer (Web based Tester Expert) – JREQ064836
Description
As a QA Engineer, Web based Tester Expert, you have a solid grasp of the product life cycle especially Agile process – from initial business requirements through development, testing, and deployment. You are able to effectively participate in cross-functional meetings, clearly articulate project risk and provide concise recommendations to Development and Product Management.
You will:-
- Engage in requirement clarification and create qualification criteria (functional and non-functional).
- Conduct effort estimation and test planning.
- Define automation test scope and write automatable test cases.
- Execute test of assigned projects and deliver test result.
- Report and track defects through completion
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns

- Strong experience in testing web pages as well as web services
- Familiarity with modern browser capabilities and limitations
- Understanding of testing concepts
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle.

4. QA Engineer (Performance testing & Infrastructure) – JREQ064838
Description
Performance Testing is a testing practice performed to determine how a system performs in terms of responsiveness and stability under a particular workload. It can also serve to investigate, measure, validate or verify other quality attributes of the system, such as scalability, reliability and resource usage.
Now we are looking for Performance QA Engineer who has strong technical background in terms of performance testing for both desktop application and infrastructure. A successful candidate will be a part of Eikon performance team supporting Thomson Reuters Eikon product and is expected to involve in the whole performance testing lifecycle which are Requirements gathering and analysis, test planning activities, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and execution of all testing required to ensure that the software is of the highest quality.
You will:-
- Collaborate with GL, functional team and architect to define test approach
- Provide efforts estimation
- Create and maintain test scenarios by using the appropriate technology
- Implement performance test automation script
- Analyze cause/impact of technical change apply to system which impact performance/capacity
- Execute performance test and analyze test result
- Report understandable test result

Qualifications
- Understanding of computer architecture and internal working concept. Such as CPU, Memory.
- Understanding of system performance measurement and relation. Such as, resources consumption measurement, perfMon.
- OOP programming concept, willing to learn new language if require by project team
- Basic of C/C++/C#
- Basic of Javascript/Batch script/Shell script
- Communicable level in English
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- New grads are welcome
Nice to have
- Knowledge of performance test tool will be advantage
